It has now been almost 3 years since Wild Child officially launched its e-store. We have seen a lush array of products in that time and we have evolved some favs, designed new trends and pushed the envelope in what we do. To go with our fantastic new products we have a new label so you can be sure you are getting our newest range. About our nappies
Our nappies have undergone some pretty cool changes over the last 12 months. We have tweaked here and adjusted there to design you a nappy this is a fantastic fit, incredibly trim and an outstanding performer. Wild Child has a great reputation for providing awesome nappies and our new nappies are no exception!


So what's different?

• well one of the first things we did is look at how much wear you are getting out of your nappy. We decided to reduce our snaps on the wings from three back to two. While this can sometimes cause wing droop problems it significantly increases the time each size will fit your bub. It's a bit of a trade off, damned if you do, damned if you don't. We thought it was better to change the way you snap your nappy (see Q&A section for more info) and get HEAPS more wear out of your Wild Child. If you find that our revised snapping procedure just isn't working for you you can send the nappy back to us and we are more than happy to add the third snap at no extra charge.
  
• We now only use temperature stable PUL... all our new nappies can go in the dryer(except Bling), on LOW of course. We still recommend sunshine as the best and most environmentally friendly way to dry your nappies BUT understand that from time to time you do need to use the dryer. 
• Size- we revisited our sizing when we designed our Workhorse nappy....we found that we could encompass a greater size range in just two nappies....there is no need for three and it saves money if you only need to upsize ONCE in your cloth nappying journey....our new size ranges are:
  

               SIZE 1- 3.5kg-9kg: waist 28-58cm:rise 33-39cm
               SIZE2- 7kg-19kg: waist 28-68cm: rise 39-47cm                       
       Please use measurements over weight as your deciding factor.

The new Wild Childs are a generous fit, size one would encompass size small and medium in most other brands. Size 2 would approximate large and extra large in other brands. My almost 3 year old wears size 2 and her snaps are still meeting in the middle, granted she is a small girl but that gives you a general idea of the sizing.

• Super trim fit. Our new Workhorse nappy is the trimmest fit that we could get without compromising absorbency. All our nappies are designed to accommodate the Patented Piggyback booster system. A simple yet fantastic design that allows you to boost your nappies up to a whopping 18-22 layers!
  
• Elastic- we have ALWAYS used the best quality notions we can get our hands on. We have nappies here that are the very first I ever made and they are still going strong after 3 years! No signs of fatigue or wear. Recently we have been able to source an even better quality swimwear elastic, this brand is used by all the boutique swimwear companies. It is more expensive at wholesale rates than standard swimwear elastic from the stores. We insist on the best quality, as do our customers, so that is the elastic we use. Of course nappies do need to be treated with a certain degree of care and this is true of even the highest quality elastic. 
• Price- we have always striven to charge a reasonable price for the quality you are getting. With the Workhorse in particular the team brainstormed ways that we could get the price down even further! It has always been, for us, about getting as many bums in cloth as possible. If you can save even more by using a Wild Child then fantastic! We managed to come up with some really innovative manufacturing procedures and researched current market practices to see where we could improve. I'm sure you're delighted with the result; we are!
  

Returns
We understand that sometimes you open your fluffy mail, and despite your careful measurements, (even with a wriggly baby) the nappy you have purchased is the wrong size for them. We happily accept  exchanges on an incorrect size on UNWORN and UNWASHED nappies. We strongly recommend that you look carefully at the nappy before you try it on, if you are in doubt contact us first.  Due to health regulations we are unable to exchange nappies that have been tried on, or have been soiled or washed. 

We will exchange for the same nappy in the other size if it is in stock.

About our clothing range
After 4 children it is apparent to me that a lot of clothing out there just doesn't fit over MCN's. We wanted to design a range that fitted over trim MCN's like Wild Child's, so we drafted our own pattern! The result....... cool, well made clothing that FITS and is made with high quality fabrics and notions.

Fit varies from child to child but generally as a guide ----

x/s = 000/0 clothing size = 6-12 months
s/m = 0-1 clothing size = 12-18 months
m/l = 1-2 clothing size= 18-24 months
x/l= 2-3 clothing size= 24-36 months
